Come into the city as we celebrate the start of Festive Derby
Join us in Derby City Centre, as we switch on Derby’s Christmas Lights and get Festive Derby open!
Before the switch on takes place you can be one of the first to take to the Cathedral Quarter ice rink, with skating available from 5pm. Enjoy a stage show outside Riverside Chambers, from 5pm – 6.30pm, full of local and community acts and presented by Smooth Radio.
You will see lantern makers from across the city come together as apart of the Latern Parade which includes local primary schools and members from various community groups who will proudly parade with the sustainable lanterns that they have made.
The big switch-on will take place at 6.30pm.
